How about dedicating one day of your holiday to wine?
We will take you to Tenuta Carlini, in the heart of the Monte San Bartolo Natural Park, for a wonderful Harvest Experience among the vineyards, followed by a picnic in the vineyard.
PROGRAM
Saturday 19 September
Arrival at the hotel and check-in.
Welcome drink, program presentation and delivery of the Alexander bike t-shirt.
Dinner at the hotel.
Sunday 20 September
After breakfast, cycling tour “Villages and Castles”: 65 km – 786 m D+
Lunch buffet at the hotel until 3:00 PM
Dinner at the hotel.
Monday 21 September
After breakfast, cycling tour to Urbino: 85 km – 1,150 m D+
Stop in Urbino to enjoy the typical “crescia” and a glass of wine.
Dinner at the hotel.
Tuesday 22 September
After breakfast, cycling tour to Mombaroccio: 75 km – 970 m D+
Coffee break in the village.
Dinner at the hotel.
Wednesday 23 September – Harvest Experience
After breakfast, transfer by hotel van to Tenuta Carlini, set in the green Monte San Bartolo Natural Park. Andrea, the owner, will personally welcome you and guide you through the vineyard for an authentic harvest experience.
Grapes are hand-picked following traditional methods. The crates are loaded onto a tractor and transported to the winery, where the winemaking process begins.
After a few hours of activity, a relaxing picnic among the vineyards.
Return to the hotel at around 5:00 PM after an immersive experience in nature, tradition and authenticity.
Thursday 24 September
After breakfast, cycling tour Sangiovese: 60 km – 695 m D+
Stop at E. Ottaviani winery for a wine tasting and their famous rustic focaccia.
Dinner at the hotel.
Friday 25 September
After breakfast, cycling tour “Panoramic Road”: 70 km – 980 m D+
Stop in Gradara for a traditional lunch at La Casaccia restaurant.
Saturday 26 September
After breakfast, departure.
